Jackie Law
Care Home Manager
Beginning her career straight out of school, Jackie Law has over thirty years’ experience across an array of sectors, from psychiatric units to nursing homes. Acquiring both a Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care and a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in the course of her career, Jackie has worked hard to develop her professional career. Jackie transitioned into management in 2016 and has been supporting care homes in providing quality care ever since. It is Jackie’s long-term commitment to helping those in need, along with her appetite for improvement that make her the perfect fit for Holy Cross Care Home.

John Ozhakayil
Deputy Manager
Over the past two decades John Ozhakayil has worked in a variety of settings, from hospice care to residential and nursing homes. Raised in a Catholic household, he credits his upbringing for instilling in him the values of kindness, empathy and compassion that have guided him throughout his career. As a highly experienced nursing professional John brings a wealth of knowledge to his role as Deputy Manager.

Iulian Halus
Clinical Lead
Earning his nursing degree overseas in 2014, Iulian moved to England soon after to begin his career in an environment where he could immerse himself in a different culture. With over ten years of agency nurse experience across various care homes, Iulian has been Clinical Lead at Holy Cross since 2023. Iulian values his role not only for its close relation to residents, but also for the hands-on collaborative opportunities it affords him with the management team, in order to curate a welcoming and nurturing environment for both residents and staff.

Ian Workman
Head Chef
Our Head Chef, Ian Workman, has been providing quality cuisine to our residents and their guests for over seven years. During his career he has worked in many prestigious hotels and restaurants developing his skills, teaching others, and creating dishes tailored to meet individual needs. Ian and his team strive to create a uniquely personalised dining experience.
