Holy Cross Priory
Originally built in 1866, Holy Cross Priory was the site of one of the first care homes of the Grace & Compassion Benedictine Sisters. Their work began in Brighton in 1954 and spread to the small village of Hassocks in 1959 from where they moved to Holy Cross Priory in 1964.
Residents of Holy Cross Care Home enjoy full access to the historic Holy Cross Priory next door — a building rich in character, offering a grand dining room and additional facilities to explore.
